Have you already tried something from Oma’s Soep?
With Oma’s Soep young volunteers and elders come together throughout the whole of Amsterdam to collectively make delicious fresh soups. After a fun morning of cooking, soup is eaten together. To be cost-effective Oma’s Soep makes extra soups with the elders and sells these to restaurants, cafe’s, businesses and also at the UvA and HvA. Many elders have a recipe with its own identity that they gladly share with the younger generation. With this Oma’s Soep tries to effectively tackle loneliness. Also Oma’s Soep aligns with a sustainable future, by using ingredients from supermarkets and greengrocers that would otherwise be thrown away.
